What we collect

When you use our configurator or contact form, we collect: name, phone, email (optional), vehicle info, configurator selections, and any notes you include. We also receive your IP address and browser user agent automatically when you submit the form.

Why we collect it

• To follow up on your quote request and schedule your install
• To send appointment reminders
• To improve our service (anonymized aggregate analysis only)

What we don't do

• We do not sell your information to third parties
• We do not share with advertisers
• We do not use your data for retargeting ads

SMS & Mobile Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of personal information exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent — this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Phone numbers you provide and any SMS opt-in consent you give us are used only by Tint Spot to send you the appointment, quote, and follow-up messages you agreed to. We do not share, sell, lease, rent, or otherwise disclose your phone number or your SMS consent to any third party, affiliate, advertiser, data broker, analytics provider, or marketing partner for their own use.

The only exception is our text-messaging service provider (Twilio), which transmits the messages on our behalf. Twilio is contractually prohibited from using your number for any other purpose.

You may revoke SMS consent at any time by replying STOP to any message from us, or by emailing privacy@tint-spot.com. Full SMS terms are on our SMS Terms page.

Where it's stored

Configurator submissions are stored in our Supabase database (US-West region). Access is limited to Tint Spot staff. The database has Row Level Security enabled and inserts are scoped to anonymous public-write only.

Cookies

We use localStorage only to remember which of our two locations you selected on first visit (so you don't see the location chooser repeatedly). No third-party tracking cookies, no analytics that personally identify you.

Your rights

Email privacy@tint-spot.com or call either shop and we'll:

• Send you a copy of all data we have on you
• Delete it on request
• Correct anything that's wrong

California residents have additional rights under CCPA — same email gets you those.

Updates

We update this page if our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version.
