Headlight & Taillight Tint
Custom-cut tint film for headlights and taillights. Three darkness levels. UV-stable, removable, never sprayed. The clean way to do it.
Sprayed-on tint looks bad after one summer and is illegal in many states because it can fog over. We use precision-cut PPF-based tint film โ installed under heat, fully reversible, no chemical residue, no fading.
Three darkness levels
- Light smoke (~50% VLT) โ Subtle, fully street-legal feel, lights fully usable at night
- Medium smoke (~35% VLT) โ More aggressive look, still passes most inspections
- Dark gloss (~20% VLT) โ Show-only / private property โ significantly reduces light output
For daily-driven cars in California, we generally recommend light or medium smoke. Dark smoke can affect light output enough to be a safety issue at night and may fail visual inspection.
Why film over spray

Common questions
Is headlight tint legal in California?
There's a gray area โ CA technically requires unmodified light output, but light smoke film is generally not flagged. Dark smoke can fail visual inspection. We'll talk through risk before installing.
Can I remove it later?
Yes. PPF-based film peels cleanly with heat โ no chemical residue, no damage.
How does it affect light output?
Light smoke: <10% reduction. Medium: 15โ25% reduction. Dark: 35%+ reduction (not recommended for daily driving).
